A factor that must
be taken into consideration when determining the size of composite timber-concrete
floors is the deformability of the connection system. Both Eurocode 5 and DIN 1052 (Möhler
theory) contain a method based on this hypothesis. The calculation programme
developed by Tecnaria is based on the method recommended in the above mentioned
documents.
