Mounting the metal structure

Laying the profiled decking over the beams. No more than two sheets of decking may be placed over any one beam if a connector must be fastened over.

Positioning the connectors

Fixing the connectors with a Spit P230 powder actuated tool.
The tool is powered by explosive cartridge. The system is safe and approved.

Compressed air fixing system. The tool is powered by a three-phase electric air compressor.

Laying the wire mesh. The floor is now ready for the cast concrete.

Attractive but relatively uncommon finish where the formwork is made from planks of wood.

If planks of wood are used as formwork, 65 mm holes will have to be drilled to expose the extrados of the underlying steel beam.
